I really don't know what to do in my life now. I can't decide if I like work more or play more. At this rate I don't even know if my monthly income for april will even reach 200 =.=" I'm turning down 2 days of work just to go out with friends. I mean, hell, its worth it, why not? Am listening to music from Lester's blog as I post this :D Its actually quite nice atm, but I think I will go crazy if I listen to it as much as my Korean music in my ipod. haha. That one is much more tame. xP and btw, watching korean girls dance.. is really disturbing, just so you know, lester ): SNSD songs are abit retarded HAHAHA. If I spent everyday stoning for an hour before work, imagine how much time i'd have wasted. Actually, that IS what I usually do, considering I usually wake up at 3pm and work pretty much starts at 4pm. Today I wasted more time because I slept 12 hours straight and woke up at 2pm. haha. Totally died the moment I got out of the shower. Dry my hair, off the light and SLEEP. I didn't even switch on the comp to check my fb and email, a first! (:

So. A lot has changed since I last posted, which I realised, is exactly a week ago!!! I am now taking a part-time LCCI Book-keeping course! That, of course, caused ALOT of trouble in the work place, and for a second I even wanted to quit because I was so pissed off with everything that was going on, even though I love that job to death. But unreasonable comments and demands CAN ONLY GO SO FAR. But whatever, I am not one to be rash. Relationship teaches you alot. Anyway, I'm still working at Ice3 part-time (screw the low pay)! Just because I like it.

Signed up for a Korean course at Daehan as well! EXPENSIVE. idk whether its worth it yet, but we'll see (: Can't wait for it to start, all my courses starting this week!!!! But I swear, listening to the person who was signing me up speaking Korean over the phone, SUPER COOL OMG. Sorry, obsessed abit xP

I am going out with Walter, Janette and Lester for lunch tomorrow!!! Can't wait! Haven't seen them for quite some time, even the last time I saw Lester was A level results day xP HAHA Oh wait, Janette came to ice3 on Sunday. idk, didn't expect to see her (: We shall all catch up tmr! Really excited about going back to Philyouth. Haven't been back for a long time. Idk whether I miss it there, we'll find out. But I miss playing as a band. Since I'm out of the school band, there's SO LITTLE chance for me to make decent music, so PY is my only outlet.

Looking for an afternoon job now, got an offer already, going for another interview tomorrow, but the thing is, I REALLY want to work at a coffee chain, except that they haven't called ): I don't know whether to wait for them to call or just take the other job first. zzz.

I think i rant alot today haha, typing it out really fast and in a pretty furious manner did the trick and i remember hearing about how girls eat and eat when they are unhappy. Certainly worked for me today, i had my fill and now i am feeling much better. To top things off, i even have my favourite strawberry sundae yum!

& I've realised, I'm quite blessed actually.

Parents who love me, friends who still care, my boy whom is always there for me, good results, awesome job, I'm pretty much worry free at the moment. Tell me that's not blessed.

There are people out there who are worried as hell as to what school they'll get into, struggling with school work, etc etc. But here I am, happy with my job, happy with my korean dramas (ESPECIALLY HAPPY because of that, if you haven't watched pasta, watch it NAO.), happy with my education planz, life couldn't get better, naturally. Well, actually I've kinda wasted this 8 month holiday away, thinking about it. Or I've wasted about half of it already. But after 4 years of spending my bank account is finally up to 4 digits!!! (Y) (Y) (Y)!! :D Lol. I'm spending it all on courses, rather than material things, ironically. HAHA. But that's good I guess, in a sense.

!Excited cuz going for lunch with dad at korean restaurant tmr (SINCE ITS MY OFF DAY YAY), and then going to check out some course at Oxford Language and Business School. Study again~~ LOL. Nothing wrong with improving myself right? Accountancy in uni, here I come!!!~ Screw all the applications though. Take FOREVER and still have to PAY?! wth. I wonder how much they earn from applications alone. joke.

Who knew this year was going to be this tough? I thought the worst was over after my 'A's, but now I'm realising our relationship is probably going to take twice the pressure, two years in a row. Last year, I took every chance/made every excuse just to meet up, because I knew as time passed and 'A's grew closer, there would be less and less time. It was true, that, because I spent day after day in school until 9.30pm, or at TPY CC mugging my ass off til' around that same time. The only time I had company was if people wanted to come out and study with me, or if I just wanted to give myself a break. [come to think about it, I seem to remember there were quite alot of breaks. Chun should be able to testify to that, right? hahaha.] I was studying, but I was never truly busy. Now that that's over for me...

It's your turn. Except now, completely different. I'm glad you're working hard, and juggling Rockfest on top of it all. Really proud of you, you know? (: I think I will go for rockfest, if I can. But I won't jump. I just want to sit at the back of the hall, all emo, and enjoy the quality of music. You can let me do that, can't you? It feels pretty shitty to be giving up all my leisure time just for this measly job that pays an average of $5 per hour. Unfortunately my math wasn't quick enough when they quoted me $1.2k, after my expected being $1.3k, which was about right. But what's done is done, I guess. But one other sad thing is that I think I am losing my running time for good, or at least for this extended period I'm working there. After sleeping at 3am everyday, I don't think its plausible for me to wake up at 6+ after 3hours of sleep to go for a run, I think I might just collapse and die. 12pm ain't such a good idea either, because serangoon gardens is hot as @#$! in the afternoons. Argh, got to find a solution to that. Safra gym is $$$$$$$DAMN EXPENSIVE$$$$$$$$$$ especially if I take it per entry, so that doesn't really work out. !!!!!

And well, as for PHILYOUTH, I really really regret not going for practices every week but hell, I have to make a living as well, not as if money grows on trees for my family... (though I do have a money plant at home, and as much as I talk to it and feed it well, it refuses to grow money D: ).

I'm trying my best to have fun at work though. Kitchen duty is fun (yeah I'm just trying to.. make myself feel better, but really, it is, in a way, cuz cooking gives me a sense of achievement), and I'm good at making crepes and waffles now!!! But I really miss the company. Idk how I can be at work with so many people and still feel so lonely.

I do like it when people crack jokes while I'm taking their orders though.

I guess being a runner can be rewarding too, but I prefer cooking. Those crepes just look so :9 ^_^ I made them, of course right ^_^

I'm glad that I at least have my dramas and my korean lessons to spice up my life a little. And now reduced to once a week phonecalls with ♥. (regretful for that, really, but I'm trying to make it only be a month okay? Promise!! wait for me..) Am looking for a basic book-keeping course to attend. hmm. Accounting! haha. That's what I'm planning to study in uni. Those wondering about results (ah, you would have asked me by now), I did pretty well and am glad for all those who supported me during A level period. (really couldn't have done it without you!!! ♥ ♥)

So messy lately, my life.

On my one week self-declared holiday. Monday.. was nice. It was nice because it was.

Today... boring as hell. I don't like staying at home. As usual nothing gets done. Well I watched A Moment To Remember. thats about it.

My week ahead... idk. I got offered a job at icecube... but that requires a hell lot of sacrifice, idk if I'm ready for it.

At least there's korean class tomorrow. Something for me to look forward to (: & maybe company too. I like being alone, but sometimes company is nice :D

I've been MIA for a long time, but its back to mar (:

I've been living in the moment.

These few days have been a miracle. Don't really know what's keeping my mood up these days - friends, family, setting my sights on something new, watching kdramas which are always full of good romance - I don't really know. For all I know, it could be a combination of all of these.

Been really busy these few weeks, but the weekend escapades with different people certainly make up for it (: I'm really glad for these people for making work and play rly fun. & I've already met like 4 new people since 2010 started, which is pretty amazingly cool since I rarely meet new people! 2010 seems to be starting out well, in that aspect anyway.

Unfortunately, I STILL NEED A FULLTIME JOB! D: Haha. Starting to step up the hunt already, since I hope work at DLTC will not be so hiong anymore & I'm starting to have more free time. Like HEY OMG FOR ONCE I'M TOTALLY FREE ON A SUNDAY (today)! But lol the last time I was free I ended up watching shows on the comp the ENTIRE day. Let's see what becomes of tomorrow, because I'm already going to be waking up at 1, looking at the time now. Lol. Well, if anyone has any jobs to intro me in the field of data entry/admin, let me knw yea? (:

Philharmonic Youth Winds in CLASSIQUES! (EXTREME)

Conductor: Mr Adrian Chiang

Synopsis
Join the Philharmonic Youth Winds in their annual concert as they present a programme that is both extremely challenging and emotionally stirring.

Led by Resident Conductor Adrian Chiang, the 80-piece wind orchestra will kickstart the concert with Tchaikovsky’s March Slave, Op. 31.

Local clarinettists, Desmond Chow and Liang Jiayi, both from The Philharmonic Winds, will take centrestage as they are accompanied by the youths in Mendelssohn’s Concert Piece No. 2, Op. 114, transcribed for Two Clarinets and Wind Orchestra.

Johan De Meij’s Extreme Make-over will dazzle with its series of musical metamorphoses based on a theme from Tchaikovsky’s well-known Andante Cantabile from the second movement of his String Quartet No. 1 in D, Op. 11.

To end off the concert, the Philharmonic Youth Winds will perform James Barnes' emotionally stirring Symphony No. 3 “The Tragic”, which was written during the period between the death of his infant child Natalie and the birth of his son Billy, a journey from darkness to light.

Well a little update.

Life's been pretty mundane recently.

Wake up, study, tuition, sleep.

Nothing surprises me anymore.

Been wondering if I should have a birthday celebration...

but then again, maybe not. Sigh.

No one will come anyway, A levels just round the corner.

I should be focusing on my studies, right?

Well at least now I get to have nice meals out on saturdays with my family after tuition. LOL.

My mum just bought this rose tea thing for me because she knows i love rose tea. :D

BUT. Its mixed weird things like oolong and haw and red dates, and just smells weird.

Sad mar. I want normal rose tea. She says she'll buy it for me though YAY. Maybe after 2 years, I can finally drink it again (:

But I'd like to thank a few people for making life more bearable everyday.

Teacher's Day 2009

So.

It really takes a day where attendance in school is optional to get 08S28 coming to school willingly, albeit not in full force, but it was a pretty good turnout, considering it wasn't so much optional as more of a shoutout to us not to come to school and stay home and practise that five letter word that starts with S and ends with Y. 9 people came to school today, compared to the miserable 10 that attended the National Day celebrations (which were compulsory, btw).

ZN performed Six Months by Hey Monday in front of the whole J1 cohort today, really brave of her, and she did GREAT :D We screamed our lungs out today, for ZN, for 08S28, for the teachers, and maybe sometimes just for the sake of screaming. (: The poor J1s sitting in front of us... HAHA. 32nd SC did a great job in planning this teacher's day celebration! The performances were great, the awards were THE BEST in terms of entertainment, and the videos... priceless. (:

As far as anime movies go, to me at least, this one is pretty good xD Of course its about music yet again, explaining its appeal to me, but yeah. Interesting plot. As you guys know, I've been spamming movies this week. Up, Angels and Demons, Twilight, and recently ie TODAY, I watched Sweeney Todd - The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, and P.S. I love you. I know, WHAT ARE YOU DOING, MAR?!?! But that aside...

Sweeney Todd was pretty good, as musicals go. You know, I love musicals. I love hearing people sing, especially the people who really can sing (ie in musicals eg. MIG AYESA!) , not exactly the rock-ish screamo kind, sometimes that turns me off. But yes again, I am finding it quite hard to believe that Johnny Depp can sing, seriously! His voice is so freaking good. I liked the singing/songs more than anything else, the plot was just o_O to me, the blood just looks like, PAINT. It was weird, but okay. HAHA.

As for PS I Love You, OMG, those of you who haven't already caught it (I know its old news but I'm quite slow =X), GO AND WATCH IT OMG. It's gotta be the best romance movie I've come across so far. Having read the book and all, this is one of the movies that I'd say were equal or better than the book itself! This movie literally tugs at your heartstrings, half an hour or so into the movie and I've already cried like 3 times =X (or maybe thats just me). I can't help it, the movie is just so sweet. You know how movies sometimes throw everything right in front of you, leaving nothing to imagination? Well, IMO this one leaves plenty for you to imagine, and then more, which is maybe why I get so emo over it and stuff. I was watching it on my psp while on the way to tuition today, and the frickin thing DIED ON ME at the climax of the whole movie! I was like NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! But maybe it was a good thing, because I was about to cry again. =X Lol.

I think I'm going to watch Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist tonight xD

Extremely satisfying :D Chionged the last 3 eps after studying today, & then after no more mood to study, because I was too happy. LOL.

Well, TBBT's going well alongside all my other favourite comedies: How I Met Your Mother, Friends and Everybody Loves Raymond. I realised, those are all homey shows - meaning they're mostly set at home. Hmm, its interesting that way sometimes, how they can make a show out of just sitting around and doing nothing. (: Anyone got anymore homey sitcoms to recommend? ^_^

Today during chapel, the pastor was talking about fear, and he said something about studying just because you fear dissapointing your parents.

...telling her my grades sparked a really long lecture on how she doesn't think I give a shit about my grades, how I am not putting in any effort, and all she sees is me going out for long hours (of which I am supposedly studying, quote her) and the "studying" isn't giving results. I got more and more pissed the more she talked, and I had to bite my tongue all the way home. Damn, you think I don't give a shit about my results? You think I don't know that I'm not doing well now? YOU THINK I FREAKING LIKE IT?! I'm sorry you think I'm incompetent. I'm sorry you think I'm stupid. I'm sorry but I'm doing my best. Today I went to deposit some money into the bank using the cash deposit machine. When the receipt came out, I did a double take when I saw my bank balance. I realised that I had 300 less than the amount I'd imagined was in there, and that was AFTER depositing the money. Then it hit me. JUNE = epic birthday month + lunch dinner lunch dinner lunch + VGL. Damn. My poor 300 bucks ): But well.. the company was worth it I guess (: While walking home in a state of shock, I decided I have to start saving/ get a weekend job or I'm going to DIE of broke-ness. Ohman. D: This means I have to come back for dinner more often and force myself to study at home. ): I CAN DO THIS! 20 bucks a week? try luh (: Less going out = more money lols.

Almost died after my run today. =.=" Lack of glucose maybe. Haven't had that kind of fainting spell for quite some time. Zzz..

Okay, the past week was uber cool, but starting Monday (ie today), I sense hell.

My week started off really badly, ever since Monday 12am.

Emoing --> couldn't sleep --> restless during tuition --> wanted to meet max for my dose of happy pill --> got lost in the middle of sentosa --> argued --> walked 20 mins in the hot sun --> walked another 10 minutes in the not so hot sun --> did one question of binomial --> did random stuff, and was late going home --> pwned by mum for not being at the study room where she appeared to fetch me --> here I am.

Lol. I'm at home now cuz I wasn't feeling well in school and left early. Thanks for all the well-wishes, I'll take care of myself! (: Hmm. Listening to Jon Schmidt on Imeem. Last.fm has a quota now D: Ah well. His songs are making me quite nostalgic actually, but that aside...

I was just thinking over the past week. You know how its the really tiny little things that people do for you that you appreciate ALOT, and never ever forget even though one day it's going to become really insignificant in this overwhelming journey we call life? Well I've had a couple of those the last few days, and I'm thankful that there ARE people who care out there (: (well at least i hope they're not just doing it for the sake of being nice...)

The past week (last monday onwards) has been a continuous uphill journey (in terms of emotions) for me, and well I'm saying this now because I really cannot remember being sad/angry even if I was. School by itself was pretty okay (I think I survived that week without ponning!), and I'd be lying if I said the after-school events didn't matter. Wednesday, bowling training and dinner with them(already below!). Friday, Girls' Soccer Finals, SAJC vs VJC. Though we lost 3-1, it was really a hard fought battle and pammy and wati did a great job! :D Went for dinner with Susannah after the match, and it was really awesome after not seeing her for two years, IMO she hasn't changed one bit. :D Saturday I spent most of the day slacking at home, besides going for dinner with my family for fish steamboat which I've been wanting phtoto eat since my dad told me that he and mum have been secretly eating fish steamboat without me almost every week! Satisfying meal, that. & Lastly, Sunday sunday sunday. SAF Central Band performance at the Botanic Gardens with the SGBF people (: They're all awesome people, even though my tombstone is now famous =.=, I'm sec 2, look taller in facebook and look chinese and malay mix. HAHAHA. Dinner with them at the prata place, then PS arcade before heading home.
(: no regrets.

Lol. This will be a somewhat-mostly-food post, because for the past few days I've been doing exactly that :x People have been studying their asses off this holiday because the next week's going to be RIDDLED with tests, but I seriously cannot be bothered, and I'm not even guilty. Oops. Enjoying life here :x Mother's Day is srsly pwn. hahah.

ANYWAY... On thursday, after the bowling Adivs, Vic, Jaslyn and I went for dinner at North Point!

This is Teriyaki Chicken Pasta from Ishi Mura. Just decided to try it out, and it turned out to be not so bad, for "foodcourt" food anw. Or maybe I was just hungry :x The way they cooked it was particularly cool though. The guy just threw everything into this pan in succession, cream sauce, chicken and all, and cooked it altogether. And the fire was WHOA big. we were wondering how he managed to cook with such a big fire holding a pan with a metal handle without burning his hand. Maybe it wasn't metal after all...

Next, Mother's Day Dinner, just the four of us! At Ristorante De Parma in Serangoon Gardens (:

Pretty small place, with nice ambience and all. Best part, all pizzas at 12.90 each on Tuesdays! Dad says we'll be back more often LOL.

Grilled Salmon! Definitely the best dish of the day. I am not THAT BIG a fan of salmon, but this was pretty pwn. The meat was so soft and juicy and tender that... OH MAN I'm hungry again.

Pizza De Menzo, commonly known as the meat lover's pizza. Crust was rly thin and crispy, which

brought out the flavour. (:

Beef tenderloin. Nothing really special though, though the potatoes with the sauce was particularly nice :x heh.

Cappucino! From italy..? lol.

&so we brought mum home for dessert after that.

Jelly Hearts! I have nothing to say, you just have to try it yourself and be WOWed by it.

Icecream, from awefullychocolate! Dark chocolate flavoured (: The box was really cool too, something like the chinese takeout boxes you see in movies.

& the cake! If it looks small here you've got it all wrong. But it was REALLY GOOD, half mousse half sponge, and all of darkchocolate! If I've eaten the whole cake myself I'd have died of chocolate poisoning, surely.

The next day, Mother's Day proper! Dinner no. 2 with the rest of the family at Mushroom Pot, Indoor Stadium.

Monkey Head Mushrooms?! I tried them and they tasted like flour, what the hell. Felt so cheated after that.

Some mushroom salad. I only ate all the golden mushrooms :x

Steamboat! Instead of mushrooms, we were spamming meat :x lol. those mushrooms floating around had pork in them, so don't be fooled! Lol. Pretty good meal in the end, because steamboat is always so pwn.

HA. This morning I woke up and came online. Well there's a pretty big gap betw the waking up and coming online, but not the point. I decided to see if I could find out the exact day I joined Philyouth, but to no avail. Instead, I found this!
