Remeber the Ipanemas I bought earler? I went to the Royal Sporting House warehouse sale, and OMFG LOOK. I buy for 40, and here going for 15!! ONE WHOLE CART. But they didn't have my colour, so at least thats not so bad =x (trying to make myself feel better...)

This was dinner at some korean bbq in pasir panjang. KOREAN FOOD = LOVEEEEEEE. The first pic on the top left, is a TOWEL. haha. Its this small coin-ish thing where it expands when you put it in water. SUPER COOL. Lol.

Was practising my clarinet just now, GR Selections solo part triplets were killing me. STILL ARE! But yeah. Day by day I improve so hopefully by concert I can play it ~ Eh wait what hopefully. I'd better be able to play lol.

Went on shopping spree the last few days. Spent like almost 200bucks =x But I didn't buy rubbish k! I bought my concert dress ( :D!! ), track shoes (cuz mine died), and clothes for both Christmas and New Year! So that ends the shopping for me for the next few months. Except presents of course. Speaking of presents, happy belated birthday to YANYUE, who's birthday was yesterday! Hope you had a good day dear :)

I figure its time to start studying soon. Got lots to catch up on :( RAWR. Forgot all my stuffs alr.

Philyouth prac yesterday, followed by Philwinds concert :)

Prac was sectionals, which was pretty okay. Man, I need to practise that stupid GR Selections solo part. :( Went out with section for dinner at BK then headed down to Esplanade! Performance was FAR FAR FAR AWAY from a let down. :) Simply awesome. Enjoyed Music from Prague and Concerto for Saxophone. Vince Gnojek!! Zomg. He is like GOD of saxophone. (or one of them, at least.) Kudos to Philwinds on the excellent performance last night.

AND PHILYOUTH PEOPLE! Bunch of Pangseh-ers!!! LOL. MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT OF MY LIFE ON RECORD!!! Diploma girl and Babicue sauce and HANMING (I can't think of a name for you), stop laughing! lol. Not funny k!!! =x

Anyways, I still can't connect my phone, so like >_< no photos for you.

But I realise sometimes its better to just go about life day by day, ignoring the impending doom that is one day going to befall me ( i know it! ), and try my best to not get angry at people, be more sociable, really LIVE LIFE. Its going to be really hard, I know, but I've got to try right? I hope you forgive me for all the shit that I've done so far.


And I'll never forgive myself for missing B&J's chunk fest today, but sacrifices are a part of life.

Desaru Holiday

Day 1!
So we left early in the morning for Johor! Made a stopover at Tebrau City for a bit of shopping, bought tidbits from the shops there, and stuff from Jusco. Ate lunch at Nando's, which was a restaurant kinda like kenny rogers, serving chicken. Really good chicken :) haha. K anyway, off to the hotel, The Pulai Desaru Beach. Got a nice room with a seaview! xD But but... as I was sitting on the sofa talking to my dad about something, I happened to notice something on the ceiling. It happened to be... A HUGE GRASSHOPPER (or something of the like)!! Because everyone was so scared, my dad had to chase it out =x Just as we thought it was the end of the tyranny of insects, I look down and see something running into the shadows. What else, but an evil COCKROACH! Dad had to go and get rid of it again. Zomg, scary room. I ended up sleeping on the couch cuz there wasn't enough space that night, and I got many mosquito and bedbug bites. They itch till now :( :( Well after chasing the insects we went out for dinner at the hotel restaurant, nothing amazing. It was also my mum's birthday, so... HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUM! x)

Day 2!
First stop: The hotel pool! It was kinda small, but me and my sis had a good time. Didn't really do much there, so nothing to say. In the afternoon, we headed off to the ostrich farm!

I'm still surprised those ostrich eggs can take my weight. They must be extremely hard. o_O

Baby ostriches (few weeks old) and full grown ones. They grow up WAY fast man. 2 weeks and they are already huge! While I was there, I got the chance to try ostrich satay, and hey. WAY BETTER THAN CHICKEN, BEEF OR MUTTON. But expensive lahh. Anyway, ostriches too cute to eat. I got to feed a fullgrown one. Didn't hurt me one bit x)) I also felt faint there, and the person in charge gave me some ostrich oil and told me to smell it (it was WAY strong) and then rub the rest on my neck and shoulders. Felt better after that. But new experience lol. Its like.. ostrich oil.. o_O

Next stop, the Desaru Fruit Farm~

Apparently, they had a mini-zoo! CUTE BUNNY! x))

And a huge fishpond with an IMBA number of fish. LOOK!

Dragonfruit plants! (the leaves kinda look like aloevera) Did you know that Dragonfruit plants and Aloe Vera plants are part of the cactus family? I didn't know that =x and that's the dragonfruit flower. :)

Other plants/fruits we saw at the fruit farm! Sadly, they had a fine for picking fruit, if not I would have eaten alot of the Jambu from the many Jambu trees. They looked too good =x Had dinner at a seafood restaurant after that, at imba cheap prices. Meal cost around 60SGD, and we had 2 big lobsters, squid, oyster omelette, huge plate of fried rice shared, prawns, and some chicken (for me cuz I couldnt eat most of the stuff). A meal like that would've cost about double here in Singapore for the amount of seafood we ordered, so that was all good. Haha. Wanted to see the fireflies after that, but it was raining heavily, so we gave it a miss and knocked off early. We got to see lots of mosquitos though. Because of the rain, the blood-hungry mosquitos attacked us during dinner (ONE WHOLE SWARM!!). Thank god for my jacket.. if not I'd be COVERED in mosquito bites, and SURE to get dengue :( :(

Day 3!

Headed for the kota tinggi waterfall! Its small, but looks so chio. Like me! (zomg i didn't just say that ahaha)

I found that the man-made facilities kinda spoiled the view. There was construction going on further downstream, which caused erosion and hence muddy water downstream. Like, BOO. (but as ShiChun says, booless.blogspot.com lol, so I shouldn't be saying that.) Felt sick again, but got better after awhile =x I seem to be falling sick alot. Headed back to Johor after the waterfall, shopping all the way till the shops closed at 9.45pm. I didn't buy a single thing too :( Except bubbleyum for philyouth people :)

And so 'til I extract the photos in my phone, this'll be it for awhile. =x

Had a great time on holiday, even though it was only three days. But the various farms were fun. x)

Thursday..

SUKI SUSHI with lester, adam and max! Whoa, very long never go out together already! :D Enjoyed myself. At night, we had my grandfather's birthday celebration, so family gathering at my house, and all the relatives came over and all. Buffet again! Didn't eat much though. But the cake was nice! :) And I have a cousin called Maximilian! How cool is that! :D Baby cousin la, very cute! Then he has this soft-toy sheep.. OMG LA. Cuter than him lol =/ But I'm being emo now.. cuz of random stuff. Listening to jazz.. trying to cheer myself up... I guess? I need someone to sing to me! hahaha.

Catch 12 institutuons in one night! Experience exciting wind music with the Junior College & Polytechnic Band Festival 2008!

In this Band Festival, band members from various junior colleges, polytechnics and pre-university institutions come together and form festival bands which perform under the batons of local and international guest conductors Dr Eric Hammer, Mr Leonard Tan & CPT Muhamad Yusri.

This eight edition of the festival brings you a diverse repertoire from three bands, one of which is the Honour Band led by internationally renowned conductor, Dr Eric Hammer from USA. Hand-picked via audition, members of the Honour Band will present spectacular music from different cultures and genres. Dr. Hammer is currently the Director of Bands at University of Pacific.

Other than all the birthday wishes from tons of unexpected people which REALLY made my day, the day was pretty much a flop for me, emotionally at least. I spent the afternoon with Max. That was okay. Lunched, went to his house, then he sent me to The Cathay to meet my parents, where I was having dinner at Astons. From the time of the dinner, my spirits started spiralling downward. Don't ask why, I don't know either. At the end of the day, I ended up watching 90210 with my sister, and then going to sleep when it ended.

I'm glad I got to spend the day with Max :) and thanks to Max and my sister for the presents! Dear, that pendant was <3! All in all, although no cake :( :(, I'm glad for the people in my life. The people I confide in, the people who trust me enough to confide in me, and the people who just make this world a better place to live and breathe in. I love you guys :D

On a lighter note, today I went to ame's house! And found out who TK is! hahaha. :D Played Mario party 8 with them on Wii. Oh man, super hard. But I had fun :D And it was good seeing TK, Ame and Grace again :)

I went to the Night Safari yesterday with love :) and GUESS WHAT. We spent like 1 and a half hours waiting for the tram, which by the time we got on, it was 10. We got off the tram at about 11, then went to Ben&Jerrys for some PHISHFOOD YEAH. :D Then we went home. SPENT THE WHOLE TIME AT THE NIGHT SAFARI JUST FOR THE TRAM!!! Basket. But it was fun overall. & got to spend time with love :)

PW meeting tomorrow. 4 more days! :D

I'm so glad we're finally done! That stupid book contains all our blood, sweat and tears which will eventually make up something like 40% of a single letter on our A level cert. Now, we begin the journey towards the infamous Oral Presentation. Things have been going pretty well, and sooner or later we will be TOTALLY DONE with PW. I cannot wait for the day where I can wash my hands off this stupid subject! Good Riddance! :(

I just realised when I opened the new reed Brian gave me on monday, that I missed the woody taste of new reeds. :( And I need more reeds! If you buy me a new box of reeds, I will love you forever and ever, I promise! :) Vandoren 3-half! <3

Hey dear classmates of 08S28...

We will be getting back our results tomorrow, in less than 24 hours... Looking back at the past year, 2008 with 08S28 has been the best year ever. Although we've been together for only 9 months, these 9 months have brought all of us together. Even though we're mostly in cliques, we click as a class! :)

As for promos results, lets keep this last day free of worry okay? Leave the worrying for tomorrow. Tonight, we shall all be happy together, and hopefully we'll all be happy tomorrow too! No more emo!

HAHA Yesterday was Hari Raya! Went to naan's place to visit :) Met new people haha. Played Bridge and Taiti :D Wow, haven't played since Ame's house WAYYYY before midyears. Yay. Left at around 4+ for PlazaSing where Maxy PROMISED PROMISED PROMISED to take me (cuz I told him we would take cab back from there). SHOPPING SPREE ending with DINNER AT MANHATTAN FISH MARKET OMG. :DDDDDD <3

So the waiter at Manhattan Fish Market gives us 2 mentos sweets after we paid the bill. LOL. Then max mentioned something about mentos lowering his sperm count.

And Max said something stupid throughout the course of the day but I shan't embarrass him here lest he kill me later.
