K! Gloria Jeans! You guys should srsly go to Gloria Jeans for Coffee. Its imba cheap I tell you! 3 bucks for an iceblended after 3pm on weekdays, like zomg. The only downside is if you sit there for too long you will freeze to death. Its damn cold, even with my jacket on. But anyways, I decided to try out the food there and ZOMG its damn worth it? I paid 10 for a tuna salad, iceblended and a lamington.

If you duno what a Lamington is, the white stuff is coconut i think, and the inside is sorta like spongecake. Yeah.

Omg the tuna salad was heavenly.  :D

My strawberry iceblended! I didn't wna order coffee cuz I already drank a cup that morning so.. yeah.

I know for a fact that it's really rare to have moments in your life when everything is going right/nothing is going wrong, and I'm really really thankful to be having one of those times now. Its not like everything is going my way PER SE, but I'm certainly not having any problems and its more like nothing is going wrong for me these few days (: 

For one, I passed my VERY LAST Napfa test with a gold! :D I'm pretty amazed myself, because I've set personal records I'd never thought I'd achieve :) But thats just the beginning of my awesome life now haha.

PW results out tomorrow! I am not exactly excited, but I think I can safely say I'm not exactly very worried about results. Not that I'm thinking that I'll do very well, but mainly because when I handed up the GPF last year, I put my fate into the hands of our teachers, knowing that there's nothing else I can do to pull up my grade and I've already done the very best I can. I think if I get a C I'd still be devastated, but as of now, I'm not really bothered (: 

While I was listening to my (hehe) iPod today on shuffle, I came across a song by this artist I haven't really heard for awhile (like 2 months? lol.) and suddenly memories came flooding back. Those memories weren't really from very long ago, but they meant alot to me. I wrote a short piece on it in my notebook, so hopefully I will remember those times forever. ♥

Studies have been a major headache the past few months. But I think now I am so carefree that even studies don't affect me anymore. It feels good to be working hard and KNOWING that you're putting effort into improving (even though i'm getting worse somehow). It is hardly a chore as much as something I need to do to improve myself. To think I've devoted 2/3 my waking hours to something as mundane as that, and I don't even think about it half the time. The other 1/3 is spent on leisure, just in case you're wondering (: Computer time ( sometimes it scares me when I think of the number of hours I waste on the comp :x ), Philyouth, Reading romance novels (one every weekend from now on!), talking on the phone... etc. I cannot imagine going full steam just before A levels and cutting all these out. They are so important to me! Lol. But yeah, time flies when you're having fun. 

My beloved friends (the ones not from SA) are doing so well in school now (: Lester even has high chances of becoming House Captain! (: Kudos to him for being so awesomeeee, and wishing him all the best! (:

I'm thinking of stuff that I want to do before I die and one of them would be to learn the drums, and play with a band, even if its for ONE song, IN THE JAMMING STUDIO, even THAT is good enough for me. 

Stuff that I want to learn before I go into uni? Two piano songs that I've already decided, and guitar basics! (meaning to at least be able to hold my own and dont take that literally lol)

I've also just received inspiration from Julian Bliss (i think thats his name), the clarinet prodigy! He's so freaking good omg. I shall press on!

Actually, I'm sure there's lots and lots more but I think this is enough for now lol. (:

I think for once, I'm going to be able to say that I'M WELL AND TRULY HAPPY.

The feeling of reading a paperback cover to cover (romance, no less) can be really satisfying, especially since now all I ever think about is school. Ironically the book I was reading turned out to have school in it and the people all turned out to be muggers, but with a life. So hopefully it will rub off on me eh?

OMG LA. If you haven't watched Shopaholic yet, GO AND WATCH NOW. 100% no regret! (assuming you're a girl/girly guy lol). The guy's damn hot (HUGH DANCY, and omg i realise i think hugh grant is hot too ahahah), the show's freaking funny, and totally worth my money! :D Maybe I just needed a laugh after my disastrous BT1 results for math, (MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT WALAO.) but it definitely did its job well. I can't stop being high about the movie now, I think I'm going to read the book. ZOMGGGGGGGGGGGG.

Got back Physics and Chemistry BT1 results today. Totally not what I expected, in a good and bad way I guess. Glad I passed both, feeling pretty screwed up that they weren't really up to standard. Got hammered by my mum for Chem results, and she's been complaining that she pays so much for my Chem tuition and I didn't get an A or a B. Well, I'm paying too =.= 70 bucks a month is alot for me, considering my "income" (is only 120 a month), hence alot of it comes from my savings. ): But yeah I think I did pretty okay on the whole, considering i slept at 8 on the night before the Chem and Math papers. Maybe extra sleep DOES bring about miracles eh? HAHA. Guys if you wna know the secret to doing well without studying, sleep earlier (so you can pay attention in class)! HAHA okay don't take this from me I'm not reliable. But well it works for me, so who knows (: [TOTALLY NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO GETTING BACK MATH. got a feeling its gona be a big disappointment...]

God grant me the serenity

This prayer was read out during the serenity reading today, and I was just reflecting on how meaningful it all was. To ask God to grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, change the things I can, and for wisdom to know the difference between the two. These few days (or rather few weeks) have been rather stressful (or more than usual), having to juggle block test studying, among the other stuff (problems that teenagers face everyday, yknow?), and I've been complaining alot to a few people (If you've been one of them, sorry!) and I realise sometimes things just CANNOT be changed, and I have to adapt to them eventually. I know that God has been there with me all this while, and that will never change. And I think sometimes its through the little things like scripture readings in the morning (which sometimes I dont pay attention to because LBY can talk for AGES) where God chooses to reach out to us, hinting to us the things that we should be asking for, Wisdom being one of them, instead of the shallow, material(well not really) things we tend to ask for. 

The last four lines of the prayer speaks volumes, don't you think? (:

Economic growth

Investment for A levels involves time and money, among other things (which i havent thought of).

Time - Studying, Travelling to-and-from school, Going to Popular to buy nice stationery for writing and colouring notes (and buying yellow highlighters!), Drawing money from my bank account! (omg need to find a job after A levels to replenish the dwindling amounts. Goodness I realise I'm spending it all on food, and tuition fees too :x )

Money - Transport costs, Fees for that study room at Toa Payoh Central CC which I will hopefully use, Food and drink to keep me entertained (lol) while studying, Tuition fees (as punishment for not studying effectively, but i dont deny it when I need help) 

It all sucks, I know. 

But the point of investment is for future benefits, no? (:

Sundayz without fillyouf

OMG. I just wasted my whole week away! ): But it was a veryveryvery fulfilling week, on the fun factor, at least. 

So lyk continuing on from saturday, I did go out in the end. Well not exactly, but I went out of my house into another house? And I camped there the whole day. Doing nothing productive and playing Patapon 2 on my BELOVED psp and playing a little guitar, whatever I remember anyway. There was a beautiful rainbow in the sky too ((((:

TODAY was positively awesome. Though there was no PY again as its solo comp week, Sunday never fails to cheer me up!! :D Went bowlingz today with Max! And I'm getting my ball redrilled so I get to leave it there = NO CARRYING HEAVY BALL HOME! YAYYYYYY (((((: The games were pretty good too, by my standard anyways. HAHA. Whatever it is, I'm just happy (: But I realised they changed the price of the games! (I always thought it was like 3 plus but it turned out to be only 3 per game) We ended up blowing 51 bucks on bowling (17 games), and then i still have to pay for my ball!! Lolz broke broke broke. ):

Well, after trying, it turned out to be more like cream of GINGER. But I guess it wasn't that bad... Hmmm. :/

Another amusing thing.. ZOMG LONG FRY. SPANNING THE WHOLE PLATE OMG. hahahah. And out of the whole bunch of fries there I only ate the long one and one other fry. So miserable ): Someone'z been stealing my food!

Yx - HEY UNCLE we still haven't met up for dinner!!! Haven't seen you in like a million years (excluding that time I went to NYNY), and we need to catch up! haha. And I wasn't being kiasu lor... Had to go ALL THE WAY to NTU for econs seminar, and just so happens the open house on the same day, might as well right. I couldnt even be bothered to go to NUS cuz it was raining haha. Besides I still have next year ^_^ Not looking forward to it though. Wish time would just stop >.<

WOW i realised I haven't updated this for really long.

Sadly, I lost all my pics, and hence my will to post ): But BT1s have been a trying time (Yeah, I've been trying!), what with mugging every single day except the day BEFORE my two most important papers : Chemistry and Math. I slept at 8pm that day, all the way through. I could say I regret it a little bit, but frankly I don't think studying that night would have helped :x Physics was utter bullshit. I'd be glad if I could even attain 5 out of 60 marks. ): LOL ralph was entertaining me with interesting ways to memorise my physics formulas just now. But.. copyright la. haha. 

Had a study outing with Max and Lester on Monday before BT1 at MOS Burger, AND THEY KEPT MAKING ME BUY FOOD FOR THEM! EVIL lol. Training me to be their maid? T_T HAHA but there was lots of fun and laughter that day (which means less studying done) and I don't regret spending time with them lol, especially since we rarely hang out. HAHA. I wrote my first Chinese words in a LONG TIME on that day too, because I had to call yy to help translate Lester's council letter to chinese so that he could give it to his chinese teacher. Half the letter was in hanyupinyin lol. :x

Still lovin' tuition to the max (:

NTU Econs Seminar yesterday was like shit. But I went to the open house and got all the books on admission and the accountancy courses and business courses ^_^ That was the only good part hahah. For dinner my family bought pizza and KFC, zomg sinful like shit. But I hardly ate anything lol, yums anw (:

THERE IS NO PHILYOUTH TODAY! Which means I'm all the more looking forward to next weeeeek ^_^ 

Got an exciting week planned out ! Most looking forward to tuesday and friday~ Outing with my dear PAE classmates on tuesday followed by tuition, and bowling trng on friday! I've deproved ALOT omg. I'm hopeless ): The rest of the days shall be filled with study outings (: By myself mostly.. haha ^_^

Look what came in the mail today!!

MSA RESULTS ZOMGZOMGZOMG!!

I TOTALLY INTERCEPTED IT HAHAHA. (see its on my bed, unopened! ^_^)

Lol, but I opened it to see what was inside first before giving it to my mum, not that there was anything to hide because I already told her all my results. Surprisingly she was quite amused that at 28%, I still managed to clear the average for chem and end up at like 56% in terms of percentile (JOKE! thats 28/100 and higher than 50% of the cohort!!!!) And as for the other results she just told me to work harder and mentioned that by BT1 I should be getting all As, after which I let out a shriek and told her that BT1 was in ONE WEEK and had like half the A level syllabus tested, that she said BT2 instead. Which I think I just might have that chance to make it there. MIGHT. If I try hard of course. But thats another story for another day. 

&&&& DID I MENTION?!??! I got my own CAMERA!!! WOOOHOOOOOOOOO :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Wheeeeee. haha 4 years has flown past. I really have selective memories about the last 4 years, throwing away the bad stuff, and savouring the good stuff (:

So hmmm. Saturday (my play day ^_^) started off like crap, cuz I only left the house at 11, reaching Somerset at 12. Then still slacked around before we actually left for lunch, which ended up at Suki Sushi! (not because I was craving anything, but just because I was hungry.) And what is Suki Sushi imba for...? SASHIMI! SPAMz0rz! :D 

Tuna, Salmon, Seabream and Shrimp (: 

Look at the pattern! It looks liek a coral reef lol. HAD to take a picture before i ate it all up. yumyum.

While waiting for our food we got bored... and started taking pictures in the shiny metal side of the conveyor belt (:

No idea what I was doing, don't ask.

HAH this is their "miso soup", and we got a shock when it came. We were expecting a small bowl of soup (like most jap restaurants) and only Max ordered it. But NOOOOO. It had to come in a huge pot! So I ended up having some too. It was practically drowning in vegetables, which was weird cuz miso soup usually only has seaweed, and I like it that way ): 

LOL. I had to be greedy and try the mochi, which was quite hard to eat because it was super STICKY. I gave up after eating 2, and here's where I hid the last one :x We wanted to light it on fire and make a fireball but... nvm :x

Next up, Marley and Me! Zomg, I was hoping this'd be a light-hearted show, but I never expected it to be EMO. I cried like super alot :x ++++ the dog was SUPER CUTE. which was good because I like anything that's smaller than me and that's cute. HAHA. 

On the way to the dinner place at Tanjong Pagar... we encountered Solid Snake! My goodness look at the amount of cameras in one small area. Every single bloody square inch was covered, and this was just some ulu part of the station! The main area was worse, practically LITTERED with security cameras. Maybe it was to monitor if the guards/policemen were doing their job there, but we'll never know. You can never have extra security I guess.

Had dinner at DA CHANG JIN! Well not really. Its actually a korean restaurant, but I cannot remember what the korean words are. I was just too fascinated about the cool chinese words because I never realised that that was what it read. HAHA. Had a good meal which didn't cost as much as I thought it would surprisingly, and I drank LOTS AND LOTS of barley tea ♥ So all-in-all the meal was quite fulfilling :D

Headed home after that.

P.S. The actual day is 030309, but being an inconvenient TUESDAY (ugh!!!), I cannot meet up with Maxy *curse and swear* So I guess Thursday will have to suffice, if it works out. ):
